Mazel Anthony

St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Union Baptist Church in St. Martinville for Mazel Anthony, 77, who passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until time of funeral service. Darren Benoit will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Union Baptist Cemetery in St. Martinville. She is survived by her sons, Cody Anthony, Sr., Clifford Anthony, Sr. and wife Lisa, Horace Anthony, Jr. and wife Theresa, and Stacy Anthony and wife Cassandra; daughters, Rochanda Anthony and husband Ken Draylon, Renese Stevenson and husband Eric, and Rose Anthony; 19 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; god children, Wila Mae Anthony and Theresa Lewis; brothers, John Alexander, Raymond Alexander, Clarence Alexander; and sister, Hazel Chamber. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace "Chune" Anthony, Sr.; daughter, Roskanda Denise Anthony; grandchild, A'Johni Anthony; father, Clarence Alexander, Sr.; mother, Lily Mae Alexander; and a host of in-laws, relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Willie Batiste, Walter Anthony, Malik Anthony, Keyori Anthony, Cody Anthony Jr., Carter Joseph Jr., Corey Anthony, and Paul Batiste.
