Megan was born in Houston, Texas on November 19, 1986.  Her journey on this earth may have been shorter than expected, but her impact was immeasurable. From a young age, Megan had a sparkling spirit and had always dreamed of becoming a make-up artist. After graduating from New Iberia Senior High in 2005, she pursued her passion by attending Remmington School of Cosmetology, where she honed her skills and transformed her dreams into reality.

Megan's greatest joy in life was her son, Gavin. He was truly a gift from heaven that brought an indescribable happiness to her heart. Megan cherished every moment spent with him, and poured all her love into nurturing and guiding him. Her unwavering dedication to being a loving mother was evident to all who knew her.

Throughout Megan's life journey, her family provided unwavering support and encouragement. Her sister and godmother held special places in her heart and were pillars of strength during Megan's illness. Their love and presence were constant sources of comfort during difficult times.

Megan is survived by her husband, Joshua Berard; son, Gavin Berard; parents, Ann and Cletus Boudreaux, and Ricky and Linda Tilbury; siblings, Derek Tilbury (Nadine), Brittany Stoltz (Brennan), Ricky Dale Tilbury, Robert Soto, Raymond Tilbury, Rachel Tilbury, and Ricky Lynn Tilbury; parents-in-law, Anthony "Tony" and Daphie Berard; brother-in-law, Matt Berard; sister-in-law, Harmonie Berard; one niece; five nephews; and one due to arrive soon that would have been her godchild.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Charles and Margaret Hull; paternal grandparents, Robert and Virginia Tilbury; aunts, Margaret Leago and Mary Lou Tilbury; and her beloved furbaby, Karma Berard.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Jose Mata, Dr. Nguyen, and the entire ICU staff of Iberia Medical Center, especially Amanda, for extraordinary care and compassion.
