In her pursuit she became a certified nursing assistant who was committed and very passionate about helping others. While attending high school, Meghan was an active member of the dance team for two years. Additionally, Meghan was Mardi Gras Parade Grand Marshall which provided her an opportunity to truly enjoy the city of St. Martinville in which she was proud to call home. Meghan was honored to be a recipient of “Dreams Alive” sponsored by the Drexel Society,Meghan was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Court # 54. Reared in the catholic church, she developed a strong faith and belief in God and lived by the influences taught by her grandparents. She definitely endured many challenges head on and never complained. She exemplified characteristics of a courageous, bright, creative individual who loved life. She enjoyed computer games, watching movies, playing her Nintendo switch, traveling to football games, dining out with family and friends, riding with her mom, trying to keep up with her mom and texting a shopping list with a note to pay upon delivery, talking to her Aunt Charlotte on the phone and discussing her day and reporting any discrepancies for reinforcement, baking and cooking with her Nanny, talking and spending time with her uncle Darrel who she called “precious baby boy” and getting up at night to talk to best friend/granny with a meeting at the kitchen table. She and her granny collaborated on several issues in which no one could interfere or stand a chance due to the double take. Meghan was known to many as the "Mail Order Queen", due to her lavish style of ordering items she desired to have no matter the cost. She lived her life to the fullest.
