Melody Case Dupre

New Iberia - Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Melody Ann Case Dupre', 66, who passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in Lafayette.

Rev. Keith Landry will officiate.

Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Pellerin Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

A rosary, led by Rev. Keith Landry, will be prayed at 1:45 PM on Friday.

Melody Ann Case Dupre' was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on October 12, 1956, to the late Delos William Case and Hazel Comeaux Case. She attended Mt. Carmel Academy in New Iberia, and graduated from NISH in 1974. Melody was a proud USL graduate, where she obtained a B.A. She taught in the private sector for many years in St. Martin Parish, and in the public sector for Iberia Parish before her retirement. Some of the things she enjoyed were flowers, gardening, music, playing piano, painting, swimming, traveling with her grandchildren (especially cruises!), and watching her grandsons play sports or attending their music concerts. All of Melody's grandchildren called her different things, including Lolee, Lurdy and Maw Maw, and she embraced them all. What she cherished most was spending time with family and friends.  Melody was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Dupre’ is survived by her loving husband of nearly 42 years, Dean Dupre'; three children, Kenneth (Christine) Dupre', Casey (Brian) Lindsey, and Joel (Brittany) Dupre'; five grandsons, Tyler Dupre', Brady Lindsey, Noah Dupre', Brennan Lindsey, and Jaxon Dupre'; and a host of grand puppies.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Dupre', Brady Lindsey, Brian Lindsey, Clayton Romero, Jimmy Dupre', and Neil Soileau.
