Michael "Mike" Biglane

Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Michael Lavell Biglane, 78, who passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center. 

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia on Saturday, March 23rd from 9:30 AM until 2:00 PM.

Pastor Andrew Wilkes will officiate at the funeral service. 

Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. 

Michael was born on February 2, 1946, in Brookhaven, Mississippi.  He served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged on April 18, 1972.  In his younger years, Mike was an avid baseball player and earned a spot on the Dodgers minor league team. Mike worked at Musson Patout Automotive Group. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his son, Tim (Crystal) Biglane; grandchild, Alexander Biglane; and his brother, Robert (Julie) Biglane.

He is preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Phyllis "Phil" Guilbeau Biglane; his parents, Lavell F. and Maxine Sartin Biglane; and his in-laws, C.D. and Melrose Guilbeau.
