Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Michael James Caillier, 70, who passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at his resident.
A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 am on Wednesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church.
Rev. Stephen Pellessier will officiate at the Memorial Service.
Michael graduated from Breaux Bridge High School in 1966, where he played basketball and football. He attended McNeese State University. Michael honorably served his country in the United States National Guard. Michael worked in sales for many years in the Oil and Gas industry until his retirement in December of 2015. He was an avid LSU fan for all sports, especially baseball, basketball and football. Michael could be found early morning reading "Dandy Don" on the internet and could always tell anyone that was willing to listen to the who, what, where and about the teams.
He is survived by his sons, Kevin Caillier and wife Dawn and Mills Caillier and wife Jamie, both of Breaux Bridge; granddaughter, Lyndsy Huval and husband Baylee; grandsons, Trent Caillier, Karlon Caillier, Karson Caillier and Karter Caillier; great granddaughter, Amelia Huval; mother of his sons, Christine Mills of Breaux Bridge; sister, Barbara Menard and husband Harold of Breaux Bridge; niece and godchild , Kayla Menard and fiancé Quin; and his nephew, Kraig Menard and spouse Laura; and his ex-wife, Lisa Caillier of Breaux Bridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearly and Euse Mae Breaux Caillier, brother, Gary Joseph Caillier; paternal grandparents, St. Cyre and Hermina Castille Caillier; and maternal grandparents, Paul and Adella Stoute Breaux.
