Michael Paul Comeaux, Sr. New Iberia - A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Michael Paul Comeaux, Sr., 64, who passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Tuesday. Entombment will be at a later date. Michael Paul Comeaux, Sr. was born on March 16, 1957, and was a retired machinist. He was a Golden Globe Boxer, and coached his kids in baseball for many years. He loved fishing, shooting pool, and spending time with family. He will be deeply missed. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Comeaux; mother, Lilly Romero Comeaux; two daughters, Crystal Comeaux (partner, Rickey Poirrier, Jr.) and Goldie Comeaux Wadsworth (Joey); son, Michael Paul Comeaux, Jr.; a grandson, Kalen Michael Comeaux; eight siblings, Mickey Comeaux (Sherry), Vickie Myers (Steve), Pam Woods (Steve), Karen Landry (Reme), Tina Broussard (Randy) , Danny Comeaux (Tracy), Daryl Comeaux, and Jennifer Turner (Chris); and a sister-in-law, Pam Comeaux, all of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Patrick Comeaux; an three brothers, Joey Comeaux, Timmy Comeaux, and Nathan Comeaux.
