Michael Joseph Suire

Delcambre – A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am NEXT Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Michael Joseph Suire, 73, who passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, in Abbeville. Rev. Martin Romero will officiate. Entombment will be at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday. Michael Joseph Suire was born in Erath, Louisiana on March 4, 1948 to the late Eugene Suire, Sr. and Inez Marie Babin Suire, and was a retired crane operator. Michael was an avid billiards player, and he played baseball in his youth. He loved LSU football, seafood and motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons, but what he cherished most was time spent with his family. He will be deeply missed. Mr. Suire is survived by two sons, Chad Suire and Michael Zachary Suire, both of New Iberia; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Eugene Suire, Jr., David "Red" Suire, Carol Ponville, Mary Vallot, and Leanna Suire.
