Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday, October 20, 2017, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Michael Landry, 54, who passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at University Hospital & Clinics. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Friday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Friday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. He is survived by his daughter, Demetra Landry (Kendall Fusilier); step-daughter, Jessica Alexander (John); step-son, Michael Auguillard (Shayla Fenner); brother, Lester Landry, Jr. (Mary); sisters, Shirley Guidry, Norma Dural (John), Juanita Carter (Greg), Nancy Landry, Laura Pitte (Leo), JoAnn Stewart (Leo) and Kathy Johnson (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Kenadi Fusilier, Hannah Champagne, Avery Auguillard, Jeremiah Wilson, Jaden Alexander, Jeneya Alexander, Jalannie Alexander, Jakyrie Alexander and Jolie Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Mary Landry, Sr.; an infant son, Michael Landry; brothers, Ricky Landry and Larry Landry; and sisters, Rose Mercier and Vesta Landry.
