New Iberia - A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, February 10, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Michael Jack LeBlanc, 57, who passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017, in Vermilion Parish. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
Michael was born in Crowley, on August 19, 1957 to Dewey LeBlanc and the late LouElla Istre LeBlanc. He was a longtime resident of New Iberia, and was employed as a dump truck operator with Southern Constructors. Michael enjoyed watching football, and NASCAR racing.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Vanessa Thibodeaux LeBlanc of New Iberia; father, Dewey LeBlanc of New Iberia; daughters, Dennie LeBlanc Haydel and husband Scott of Youngsville, Dara LeBlanc Pellerin of New Iberia; son, Dylan LeBlanc of New Iberia; sisters, Lillian Williams of Thibodaux, Christine Breaux of New Iberia, Janet Bourque and fiance' Guy Lefort of The Woodlands, Texas; brother, Edward LeBlanc and wife Louella of Bedias, Texas; grandchildren, Aiden Haydel, Addison Haydel, Julian Pellerin, Ashton Pellerin, Mason Pellerin; and his best friend and beloved dog Spike.
Michael was preceded in death by mother, LouElla LeBlanc, and a sister, Paula LeBlanc.
