Michael "Mike" James Miller

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Michael "Mike" James Miller, 69, who passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Stephen Pellessier will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Readers will be Jennifer Rabalais and Erica Miller. Gift bearers will be Sara Miller, Alex Miller, and Camryn LeBlanc. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mike was born in Church Point, Louisiana to the late Wilton and Edna Mae Guilbeau Miller. He was the proud owner of Southern Insulating Windows for over 35 years. Mike was a hard worker and great provider for his family. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and doing home projects. Mike was a family man and loved his wife, children and grandchildren dearly. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marsha Mayer Miller; sons, Darrell Miller and wife Erica, and Scott Miller and wife Brooke; daughter, Darlene LeBlanc; grandchildren, Amber Daigle and spouse Bryan, Camryn LeBlanc, Sara Miller, and Alex Miller; great grandchild, Katelynn Daigle; sister, Lisa Mouton and husband Glen; and his mother-in-law, Helen Mayer. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilton Miller; mother, Edna Mae Guilbeau Miller; father-in-law, Nathan Mayer; brothers-in-law, Raymond Louviere, Clyde Warfel, Nathan Wayne Mayer, and John Dale Mayer; sisters-in-law, Darnell Warfel, and Marlene Mayer; and numerous aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be Darrell Miller, Scott Miller, Rick Ross, Kaanan Douget, Chris Mouton, and Rich Schneider. Honorary pallbearer will be Bryan Daigle.
