Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Michael Joseph Periou, 62, who passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday.

Deacon Tim Mercantile will officiate at the Funeral Service.

Interment will follow at St. Theresa Cemetery in Duson.

Michael enjoyed entertaining his family and friends, cutting grass, fishing, and doing carpentry work. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Etta Benoit Periou; life partner, Charmian Landry; daughters, Ashley Periou, and Jamie Periou; stepson, Barron Jude Wyble; stepdaughter, Andrea' Jeanne Rene' Wyble; three brothers-in-law, Nelson Landry, John Landry, and Blaine Landry; sister-in-law, Emily Landry; and two step grandchildren, Kylon Tyler Wyble and Trinidy Claire Wyble.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Hebert Periou; father, Bernard Periou; and his brother, Terry Bourque.
