New Iberia- Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday September 15, 2012 at Pellerin Funeral Home In New Iberia for Michael "Shock" Shockley, 43 who died on Sunday September 2, 2012 in Farmington, New Mexico from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday September 14 from 4:30 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm Saturday at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd in New Iberia. Rowdy Daigle of Freedom Biker Church will officiate. Born in New Iberia on September 24, 1968, Shock was a hardworking man who loved his family and motorcycle. He was employed by Fredericks Machine Shop as a Senior Estimator and Supervisor of Fabrication. An avid motorcyclist, Shock was the founder of the Iron Cross Riders Motorcycle club, past president of LA Riders Motorcycle club Lafayette Chapter and had finally accomplished his dream of becoming a Bandido for The Bandidos Motorcycle Club. Shock had two passions in life; riding his motorcycle alongside his Brothers - no distance too far, and seeing his Sunshine smile. From the moment they married, they had a bond that no one or anything could break. He will be greatly missed by all the biker community. Survivors include his wife Janet "Jay" Shockley of New Iberia, sons, Michael Shockley Jr (Dookie) of Delcambre, Dustin Dupuis of New Iberia, Daughters Ashley Suire, Faith Maturin and husband Ryan, Michelle Suire, and Harley Dupuis all of New Iberia; grandchildren, Amya Domingues, Cayton Maturin, Tallon Maturin, Landyn Bonin, Jaydin Bonin, Tyson Mire, Maylayna Shockley. Sisters Becky Delcambre, Shelly Badeaux, Heidi Badeaux, Christina Espinoza, Rhonda Badeaux, Bebee Menard; brothers, Marshall Dupre', Richard Nugier, Jason Badeaux, Ron Badeaux, Jarrod Henry, Kevin Badeaux and one Uncle Jr. Badeaux. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe "Pop Joe" Shockley and Claylie "Pearl" Badeaux Shockley; brother, C.J. Espinoza. Pallbearers will be Bandido Dave Durke, Bandido Melvin, LA Rider Tank, LA Rider Coby, Iron Cross Rider Smoke and Lane Perrodin Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Shockley Jr. and Dustin Dupuis Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, New Iberia, LA 70560, 337.365.3331 is in charge of the arrangements.
