Mildred Louviere Delcambre

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Mildred Louviere Delcambre, 93, who passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017. A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 2:00 PM. Entombmemt will follow at St. Peter Cemetery in New Iberia. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mildred Beatrice Louviere Delcambre was born on January 24, 1924 to the late Carlos Louviere and Edna Judice Louviere. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was dedicated to her family above all else. She enjoyed playing cards, babysitting, and family gatherings. She raised a lot of children over the years, and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by sons, David Delcambre, and Kent Delcambre and wife Mona; daughters, Jeanelle LeBouef and husband Charles J. LeBouef, Sr.and Beatrice "Bea" Osmer, all of New Iberia; grandchildren, Jason Jerome Delcambre and wife Kacie, Charles "Charlie" LeBouef, Jr. and wife Dena, Charnelle LeBouef Musemeche, Heather D. Landry and husband Cody, and Chelsea Delcambre; great-grandchildren, Angelique LeBouef, Madisyn Delcambre, Carson Landry, Hudson Landry, and Jackson Landry.; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Jerome W. Delcambre, Sr., son, Jerome W. Delcambre, Jr., sisters, Louise Weber, Lucy LeBlanc, Matille Toucheque, Clara Domingue, and Rita Hiceman; brothers, Russell Louviere, Sr., St. Cyr "S.J." Joseph Louviere, and Larry Louviere, son-in-law, Ronnie Osmer, and a great grandchild, Vincent James Musemeche. Pallbearers will be Jason Delcambre, Charles LeBouef, Sr., Charles LeBouef, Jr., Keith Hebert, Joey Sturm, and Tommy Good. Honorary pallbearers are Gerald Latiolais and Russell Louviere.
