Mildred D. Sylvester

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 9, 2005, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Mildred Davis Sylvester, 86, who died Monday, July 4, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include her sons, Leroy Sylvester and Joseph Sylvester; her daughter, Willie Mae Lewis; her sisters, Yola Sylvester and Mary Louise Perry, all of Breaux Bridge; twenty grandchildren; fifty-seven great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Sylvester; her son, Raymond Sylvester; her parents, Raymond and Emily Castille Davis; two brothers and three sisters. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 4 PM ~ 10 PM on Friday and continue at 7 AM on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6 PM Friday evening.
