Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Monday, June 11, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Mildred Ann Thomas, 52, who passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Mildred was a photographer by trade and a great one at that. She knew that life was full of events, some of them extraordinary, and it brought her a tremendous amount of joy in being able to capture those special moments for her family, friends, and loyal customers - moments that they could remember for the rest of their lives. Although photography was a big part of her life, she also enjoyed designing floral arrangements. Her most treasured times were those spent with her family - she loved watching over everyones children and always made sure that they were protected at all times. She is survived by her father, Joseph Bob Jr. of Cecilia; one brother, Earl James Singleton of Breaux Bridge; five sisters, Barbara (Troy) Singleton Scott of New Orleans, Sarah S. (Jerry) Alexander of Breaux Bridge, Delores S. (Darrell) Mitchell of St. Martinville, Rose Singleton and Patricia S. (Randy) Tate, all of Breaux Bridge; five step sisters, Mary Ann B. (Joseph) Wiltz, Helen B. (Charles) Wiltz, and Marie B. (Nicholas) Calais, all of Cecilia, Shirley B. (Cleo) Pete of Lafayette, and Peggy Broussard (Charles) Garrett of Breaux Bridge. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Earline Singleton; her step father, Clarence Singleton; maternal grandparents, Mildred Gabriel and Lazaire Thomas; and paternal grandparents, Joseph Bob, Sr. and Corita Ames Bob. Pallbearers will be Charles Wiltz, Sr., Darrell Singleton, Phillip Williams, Jr., Joseph Williams, Joseph Wiltz, Jr., Ricky Champagne, David Champagne, and Francis Lee. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements. To view on-line obituary, sign guestbook and , go to www.pellerinfuneralhome.com
