Mildred 'Millie' "Millie" Verrett

Arnaudville - A Graveside Service will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville for Mildred "Millie" Verrett, 77, who passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017, at Opelousas General Hospital. Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the graveside service. Millie was born in Arnaudville, Louisiana to the late Leopold and Malanie Hebert Olivier. She enjoyed planting flowers and being in her garden. Mildred was a caring lady who took joy in raising her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving daughters, Cynthia Nelson of Mobile, AL, Donna Latiolais and husband Dwight of FL, and Samantha Verrett of Arnaudville; her brothers, Charles Olivier and wife Shirley of SC, Francis Olivier of Arnaudville, and Daniel Olivier and wife Jan of SD; her sister, Cathy Bergeron of New Roads; 12 grandchildren, Lance, Lana, Kathy, Cheyenne, T.J., Devon, Harley, Patricia, Amber, Harry, Jr., Gabriel, and Jessica; and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leopold and Malanie Hebert Olivier; her son, Harry Verrett; and a daughter, Tina Verrett. Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
