Milton Delahoussaye

Henderson- Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. , on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 , at Pellerin Funeral Homes Chapel in Henderson , for Milton Joseph Delahoussaye, 89, who passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at The Regional Medical Center of Acadiana in Lafayette . Rev. Michael Keith Landry, will conduct the services. Interment follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson . The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012 and continue at 7:00 a.m., on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Milton enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Evelyn Allemand Delahoussaye of Henderson; his sons, Rocky Delahoussaye and is wife, Sheila, Corky J. Delahoussaye, Sr. and Wendell J. Delahoussaye all of Henderson; his daughter Freda Gautreaux and her husband, Toby of Cecilia; his grandchildren, Corky Delahoussaye, Jr., Kyle Delahoussaye, Hanna Delahoussaye, Kenneth Delahoussaye, Jordan Gautreaux, Braydon Gautreaux, Brodie Dekerlegand, Garrett Dekerlegand, April Dekerlegand, Angel Delahoussaye, Jude Courville and Kimberly Franklin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Marie Poirier Delahoussaye; his sons, Garrett 'Tiger' John Delahoussaye and Kenneth 'Ken' Wayne Delahoussaye; his brothers, Anatole, Avery, Allen, Lawrence and Theodule Delahoussaye; and his sisters, Josephine D. Thibodeaux and Edna D. Babin. Pellerin Funeral Homeof Hendersonis in charge of arrangements.
