Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 25, 2024, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church honoring the life of Milton Joseph LeBlanc, 86, who passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Cecilia, from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM. 

A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM on Friday, October 25, 2024.

Rev. Peter Emus will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Mariah Dartez and Aliko LeBlanc. Gift bearers will be Audriana LeBlanc and Kyler Lazard.

Burial will follow at a later date. 

Milton Joseph LeBlanc, a devoted member of the equine industry and a loving family man, passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 86 in his hometown of Arnaudville, Louisiana. Born on March 19, 1938, Milton dedicated his life to his passion for horses and spent many years as a respected horseman within the community.

Hailing from a close-knit family, Milton was known for always prioritizing his loved ones above all else. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever be cherished by his surviving relatives.

In his free time, Milton enjoyed training horses, engaging in friendly games of pool, and partaking in hunting excursions, but most of all, he treasured the moments spent surrounded by family.

Milton will be remembered for his unconditional love, his commitment to his craft, and the profound impact he had on those fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace, forever cherished and never forgotten.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie LeBlanc; sons, Johnny LeBlanc, Jimmy LeBlanc, Milton LeBlanc Jr, and Quincy LeBlanc; brother, Linton (Anna Jean) LeBlanc; sisters, Mary Lee Wiltz, Earline (Roland) Castex, Mary Alice LeBlanc, and Mary Lou LeBlanc; 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilton and Pauline Williams LeBlanc; wife, Hilda Dartez LeBlanc; sisters, Renella Demouchet and Priscilla Noel; brothers, Melvin and Earl LeBlanc; and his grandsons, Jimmy LeBlanc, Jr. and Ulysses Journet. 

Pallbearers will be Darius LeBlanc, William LeBlanc, Willie Ray LeBlanc, Wilson LeBlanc, Marvin Castex, and Trenton Dartez. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy LeBlanc, Quincy LeBlanc, Johnny LeBlanc, Damian Wiltz, Landell Davis, and Milton LeBlanc Jr.
