Molly Patin Pellegran

St. Martinville A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Molly Patin Pellegran, 83, who passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Belle Teche Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday at 7:00 am until 9:30 am at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Rev. Rusty Richard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Molly enjoyed crocheting and making baby blankets. She cherished times spent with her family, most especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Pellegran; sons, Fred Laviolette, Johnny Laviolette and wife Jody, and Jimmy Laviolette and wife Elena; brother, Carol Patin; sisters, Velma Patin and Lucille Rousso; step children, Danny L. Pellegran, Cheryle Champagne and husband Jerry, Christopher Pellegran and wife Anna, Dianne P. Rogers Credeur and husband Darrell, and Christine D. Stevens and husband Shawn; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 19 step grandchildren; 20 step great grandchildren; and 10 step great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey J. and Lilly Hayes Patin; and a step grandchild, Desiree Pellegran Woods. Pallbearers will be Johnny Laviolette, Jimmy Laviolette, Christopher Pellegran, Gage Laviolette, Jace Laviolette, and Darrell Credeur. Honorary pallbearers will be Freddie Laviolette and Jacie Laviolette.
