Monica Ann Thibodeaux

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 30, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Monica Ann Thibodeaux, 36, who died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at her residence. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Monica loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed growing beautiful flowers in her flowerbeds. Survivors include her mother and step father, Deborah and Jack Scoggin, of Breaux Bridge; her father, Donald Ray Gachassin of Beaumont, TX; one son, Lane Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge; her maternal grandmother, Lorraine Williams of New Iberia; her paternal grandmother, Shirley Gachassin of New Iberia; her brother, Elton Scoggin of Breaux Bridge, her half brothers, Anthony Scoggin of Cade and Donald Gachassin of Beaumont, TX; her half sisters, Crystal Pilgeram of Austin, TX and Donna Ren Gachassin of Beaumont, TX; and her godchild, Laya Scoggin of Breaux Bridge. She was preceded in death by her son, Tanner Paul Thibodeaux; her maternal grandfather, Douglas Hall; and her paternal grandfather, Horace Gachassin. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
