Mrs. Ames Collette

Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for Eola Serrette Collette, 78, who died Monday, May 22, 2006 at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Survivors include her sons, Duke Collette and his wife, Bronwyn of Prairieville, Bryan Collette and his wife, Sheila of Breaux Bridge, and Craig Collette of Henderson; her daughters Wanda Collette of Breaux Bridge, and Tina Wyatt and her husband, Scott of Cecilia; her brothers, Wesley Serrette of Henderson and Nolan Serrette of St. Martinville; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ames Collette; her parents, Anatole and Marie Guidry Serrette; her brothers, A. J., Jessie, Milton, and Clifton Serrette, Sr.; and her sister, Ella Mae Keith. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Duke Collette, Bryan Collette, Craig Collette, Scott Wyatt, Sergio Collette, and Josh Collette. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
