Muneera was a lovely person who loved life and enjoyed it fully. She appreciated beauty and saw it all around her. A very curious person, she was constantly reading and educating herself. She was extremely creative, a talented seamstress, and artist who created beautiful things out of seemingly nothing. Together with her husband they built and painted children's furniture which her great grandchildren now enjoy.
Muneera loved her nursing home family and was an advocate and spoke up for those who could not. She was kind and loving, never failing to share a prayer with those who needed. She presented cards to every resident who was celebrating their birthday at the monthly celebration, although her hands were arthritic, and writing was difficult for her.
She was a spirited and humorous woman who will always be remembered with a smile. Muneera was loved greatly and will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Jamie Boudreaux of St. Martinville, Sherry Eastin and husband Rock of St. Martinville, and Trisha Boudreaux Brasseaux of Parks; her grandchildren, Robin Eastin, Erin Eastin, Jessica Langston, and Desiree Laviolette; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirlis Boudreaux; her parents, Louby and Beatrice Prince Olivier; her sisters, Mary Grace Olivier and Theresa Olivier; and her brother, David Olivier.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Boudreaux, Rock Eastin, Jeremy Olivier, Brian Olivier, Colby Langston, and Manny Augello.
The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation and gratitude to the kind and caring staff of Landmark of Acadiana.
