Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held ;on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. at St. ;Bernard Catholic Church ;for Murphy Anthony Broussard, Jr., 55, who passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010 in Breaux Bridge. Murphy enjoyed the freedom and the wind in his face while riding motorcycles, listening to hard rock music, cooking many of his favorite foods, spending time with his family, friends, and Butch, his pet dog. Survivors include his mother, Shirley Broussard of Breaux Bridge; his sons, Roy J. Broussard and his wife, Kristy of Cankton and Isaac M. Broussard of Cecilia; his daughter, Christine Broussard of St. Martinville; his brother, Jacob Broussard of Breaux Bridge; his sisters, Patricia Schoenfelder and her husband, Lance of Farmerville and Jennifer Theriot and her husband, Davis of Breaux Bridge; and his grandchildren, Briley L. Vitz and Isabella E. Broussard. He was preceded in death by his father, Murphy Broussard, Sr.; his sister, Rebecca Anderson; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Trosclair; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Broussard, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
