Nancy Girouard Hebert

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, on Friday, December 18, 2015, at St. Peter Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Nancy Girouard Hebert, 63, who passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, in Broussard. Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Nicholas DuPre' will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 11:00 AM until 10:30 AM Friday at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Thursday. A native of New Iberia, Mrs. Hebert was born on February 22, 1952 to Errol Girouard, Sr., and Delta May Bourque Girouard. She was a hot shot driver for 8 years, and her hobbies included playing bingo, going to the casino, and shopping, but most of all spending time with her family. Please wear purple, Mrs. Hebert's favorite color, to help the family celebrate her life. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Joseph Larry Hebert, Sr. of New Iberia; daughters, Tabitha Frederick and husband Dwayne of Broussard, Jo-Nell Hebert of New Iberia; sons, Joseph Larry Hebert, Jr. and wife Mary of Loreauville, Troy Hebert and wife BJ of Opelousas; sister, Linda Slaughter of New Iberia, ; brother, Errol Girouard, Jr. of Lafayette; grandchildren, Ashley Thibodeaux and spouse Blaine, Joey Douget and spouse Heather, Chelsea Hebert, and Brett Segura; several step grandchildren; great grandchildren, Karter Thibodeaux, and Kaylie Thibodeaux; and several step great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joseph Larry Hebert Jr., Troy Hebert, Dwayne Frederick, Joey Douget, Errol Girouard Jr., and Trey Colomb. Honorary pallbearers will be Brett Segura, Blaine Thibodeaux, Shannon Deville, and Everett Chapman.
