Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Nathan L. Patin, 82, who passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm on Thursday.
Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson.
Nathan was born June 13, 1938. He enjoyed doing carpentry work around the house, playing cards, and going to the casino. You could find him most days on his tractor moving dirt on his property. He loved his family and friends and valued his time spent with them. Nathan will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his son, Randy Patin (Rachel); grandchildren, Chad Patin (Jennifer), Colt Patin (Heidi), Tyson Patin (Jennee), Terance Patin, Tyra Patin, and Renee Lasseigne (Michael); great grandchildren, Heath, Amelia, Hayden, Camille Patin, Cohen and Cooper Patin, Myla Mistric, Aeyon Patin, Macy, Angelle, Baysen and Riley Lasseigne; sister in-law, Rita LeBlanc (Fred); and his loving companion, Irene Benoit.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertie Ann Patin; two sons, Ted Patin and Gary Patin; parents, Robert and Batistine Guidry Patin; five brothers, Aldus Patin, Whitney Patin, Mitchel Patin, Russell Patin, and Ovey Patin; three sisters, Hazel P. Huval, Marie P. Lafleur, and Fabiola Hebert; and his sister-in-law, Edith Robin.
Pallbearers will be Randy Patin, Floyd Duplantis, Chad Patin, Colt Patin, Tyson Patin, and Terance Patin.
