Neil James Hebert

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Neil James Hebert, 56, who passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017, in New Iberia. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home. A rosary, led by the Men's Group, will be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 am until 10:30 am. A native of Loreauville, Mr. Hebert was born on January 27, 1961, and was a graduate of Loreauville High School. He had worked as a security guard and machinist, and enjoyed horses, watching football, and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Linda Clement Hebert of New Iberia; daughter, Kimberly Hebert Billiot and husband William of New Iberia; son, Scott Philip Hebert of New Iberia; mother, Leona Hebert of Loreauville; adopted daughter, Chelsey Hebert Blanchard and husband Michael of New Iberia; grandchild, Tyler Billiot; sister, Geraldine Bienvenu and husband Glenn of St. Martinville; brothers, Lynn Hebert and wife Yvonne of St. Martinville, and Raymond Hebert and wife Terry of Loreauville. He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Hebert, Jr. Pallbearers will be William Billiot, Scott Hebert, Raymond Hebert, Michael Clement, Jimmy Bienvenu, and Lynn Hebert.
