Nelda Elizabeth Dauphine

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Nelda Elizabeth Dauphine, 71, who passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Tulane Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm on Wednesday and continue on Thursday at 7:00 am until 10:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Rev. Rusty P. Richard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. The reader will be Brook Dauphine. Gift Bearers will be Hunter Dauphine and Braden Dauphine. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Nelda is survived by her loving sister, Gayle Dauphine of St. Martinville. She was preceded in death by her father, Aurelien Dauphine, Sr.; mother, Theresa Champagne Dauphine; her son, Jamie Jude Dauphine; and her brothers, Aurelien Dauphine, Jr. and Glenn Guidry. Pallbearers will be Eric Dauphine, Hunter Dauphine, Braden Dauphine, Yogi Dauphine, and Roy Guidry.
