Breaux Bridge A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Nettie Mariah Clipps McClarty, 70, who passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Northshore Regional Medical Center in Slidell. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 10:45 am on Saturday. Pastor Melvin Jackson will officiate at the Memorial Service. On October 18, 1944 a beautiful baby girl was born to Clarence and Rachel Clipps. They named her Nettie Mariah after her two grandmothers she was the first of their five children Nettle has always had a thirst for knowledge; after college she enrolled in a technology course for Respiratory Therapy where she graduated with honors. Nettie then began her career as a Respiratory Therapist at Charity Hospital and Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans La until her retirement in 2004. Nettie Leaves to mourn her mother Rachel Clipps, Brothers; Clarence (Dianne), Anderson (Linda), and Richard (Joyce) and sister, Shelia Bell (Elliott). Her Children; Rochelle Lee (Charles), DWinn Norbert (Tollyer), Orlando McClarty (Danielle). Seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. We who are left to morn this great lady will always have precious memories and much love.
