New Iberia - Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Fabian "Fabo" James Dugas, 57, who passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017, in New Iberia. A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, and will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Rev. Theo Landry will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia. Fabian James Dugas was born in Loreauville, LA on March 9, 1960 to the late Theresa Broussard Dugas and James Joseph Dugas, Jr. He was a 1978 graduate of Loreauville High School, and worked as an Airplane Mechanic. Fabo loved family gatherings and playing in the dirt with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed cutting grass, building and painting utility trailers, and watching westerns. Mr. Dugas is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Romero Dugas; daughters, Kira Jo White of North Lake, TX, Jennifer Migues and husband Wesley of New Iberia, and Heaven Norwood of Rayne; sons, Joshua Dugas and wife Jamie of Lafayette, Keith Bourque of New Iberia, and Chad Bourque and wife Shana of New Iberia; sisters, Mary Blanchard and husband Carol of Catahoula, Karen Day and husband David of St. Martinville, and Angel Henry and husband Tracy of Prairieville; brothers, Armand LeBlanc of Loreauville, Chris "Beef" Dugas and wife Laurie of St. Martinville, Eric Dugas and wife Maria of St. Martinville, and Jason Dugas and wife Tracie of New Iberia, and ten grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are Debbie Dugas, Keith Bourque, Chad Bourque, Chris Dugas, Jason Dugas, and Wesley Migues. Honorary pallbearers are Joshua Dugas, Eric Dugas, David Day, and Michael Girard.
