VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Louisa - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 18, 2009 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Louisa for Ngo Giap Hoang, 93, who died Saturday, July 11, 2009 in The Colony, Texas. Interment will follow in the Baldwin Cemetery. Rev. Thomas Nguyen will be the Celebrant. Born on October 17, 1916 in Vietnam, Mr. Hoang was a longtime area resident having worked for Twin Brothers Marine. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Survivors include his wife, Ru Hoang of Louisa; sons, Ngu G. Hoang of Lafayette, Nghi G. Hoang of New Iberia, Tommy Hoang of Carrollton, Texas, Henry Hoang of Carrollton, Texas, Ngu Hoang of New Iberia, Kevin Hoang of The Colony, Texas, Tony Hoang of Carrollton, Texas; daughter, Lien Hoang of Houston, Texas; 26 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Minh Hoang. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia.
