Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Miss Nhan Nguyen, 89, who passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab in Breaux Bridge. Nhan was born on October 10, 1919 in South Vietnam, where she was schooled and also studied four years in France. She moved to the United States in the early 1980's, having worked in the seafood industry all of her life. Nhan was a very gifted and talented baker, who was well known for her pastries; giving away everything she made. She was a very giving and caring woman who will be missed by her many friends. Visiting hours will be observed from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and continue at ;7 a.m. until 9:30 ;a.m. on Saturday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
