Nicholas Barrilleaux

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at St. Peter Catholic Church in New Iberia for Nicholas 'Nick' Barrilleaux, 26, who died Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Lafayette . Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery . Rev. Charles Langlois will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560, 337.365.3331. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Monday. Visitation will continue Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 1:15 PM . Born on November 21, 1985 , Nick was a graduate of Catholic High and attended ;the University of Louisiana Lafayette . He worked for Blue Stream Services, and enjoyed staying busy repairing or 'fixing' things. A very neat and organized person, Nick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Leslie and Cherie Richard Barrilleaux of New Iberia; grandparents, Armance Barrilleaux of Broussard, Jackie Richard of New Iberia; sister, Natalie Barrilleaux of New Iberia; his familys pet Yorkies, 'Barbie' and 'Bella'; and a niece due to arrive in July. Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Billie Barrilleaux, and Merkel Richard. Pallbearers include Peyton White, Dean White, Matt Mouton, Bryant Myer, Marcus Broussard, Oran Broussard, Jr., Shelby Barrilleaux, and Chuck Richard.Honorary pallbearers include Keith Richard, Karl Richard, Tucker Lewis, Oran Broussard, Sr., and Nick's co-workers at Blue Stream Services.Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560, 337.365.3331, is in charge of arrangements.
