Tulsa, Oklahoma - A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Church on the Move-Kids on the Move Auditorium, 1003 North 129th E. Ave., Tulsa, OK, for Nicole Dawn Roberts Becnel, 23, who died on Sunday, March 22, 2009. Nicole was a graduate of Tara High School in Baton Rouge, LA and a student at Delgado College in New Orleans, LA, and graduated in Business Management. While in high school she was a cheerleader, mascot for a year, was elected class president, and voted "Most Popular." Nicole was a very outgoing, fearless and a fun person. She loved to laugh upon entering a room - always making a statement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Opelousas, LA. Nicole was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister who adored her children unconditionally. A jewel and a rarity, Nicole always made everyone feel like her best friend. She never met a stranger and will long be remembered for her kind spirit, giving heart and her beauty.

Survivors include her husband, Ryan Becnel, of Destrahan, LA; her son, Sebastien Becnel; her daughter, Juliana Becnel; her mother and step-father, Gloria and Larry Goodale, of Claremore, OK; her father, David Carl Roberts, of Tulsa, OK; two brothers, David Chad Roberts, of Claremore, OK, and Scott Goodale and his wife, Kerri, of Carlsbad, NM; two sisters, Hailey Goodale, of Claremore, OK, and Tonya Dubrock, of Paducah, KY; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Claire Barber, of Pittsburg, KS; paternal grandparents, Darrell and Laura Roberts, of Grove, OK; step grandparents, Joe and Pauline Goodale, of Blackwell, OK, her paternal step-grandfather, James Garrett, of Tulsa, OK; her nieces, Shelby, Maddie, Davis, Abby and Emmy; also a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Dottie Sue Garrett; and her aunt, Lisa Dake Putman.
