Nicole "Niki" Lynn Comeaux

New Iberia - A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Nicole "Niki" Lynn Comeaux, 46, who passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 in New Iberia.

Deacon Durk Viator will officiate.

A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm on Sunday.

A rosary, led by the Men's Rosary Group, will be prayed at 3:00 pm on Sunday.

Nicole "Niki" Lynn Gonsuron Comeaux was born in New Iberia, Louisiana on March 24, 1976, and was a licensed cosmetologist. She previously coached baseball, and had an amazing voice; she loved to sing karaoke. She was very talented at crafting, and created many beautiful things, especially door wreaths. Niki loved to laugh, as can be seen in all of her pictures. She was also very fond of her Yorkie, Tookie. She will be deeply missed.

Niki is survived by her parents, Kirk and Tammy Martin Thibodeaux; her three children, Breigh Michelle Eldridge, Taylor Meche Gonsoulin (husband Blake Joseph Gonsoulin), and Blake Nicholas Comeaux (significant other, Isabelle Breaux); biological father, Paul William Marks; brother, Joby Lyn Gonsuron (wife Lisa Gaudin Gonsuron and their daughter, Kaelynn Gaudin); half-brothers, Daylan Joseph Marks and Damian Patrick Marks; maternal grandmother, Vivian Martin DeRise; longtime companion, Arlana Saddler; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Theophile Frank "Pa" Martin.
