Noah John Buras

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 5, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Cecilia for Noah John Buras, 7, who passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2007. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Noah loved boat riding, riding his motorcycle and playing with his dog and friends. Survivors include his parents, Billy John Buras and Dawn Thibodeaux Buras, of Breaux Bridge; his sisters, Darian E. Buras and Alaynee M. Buras, both of Breaux Bridge; his paternal grandparents, Angie DelaCruz Buras, of Belle Chasse and Kenneth John Buras, of Lafayette; his maternal grandparents, Darrell J. and Beverly Thibodeaux, and Renella Thibodeaux Berard and Cliff Berard, all of Breaux Bridge; his paternal great grandfather, Willie DelaCruz, of Empire; and his maternal great grandmother, Audrey Hardy, of Arnaudville. Noah is also survived by three aunts and four uncles, Dodd and Rachel Gravouilla, of Arnaudville, Chad and Wanda Lastrapes, of Cecilia, Bethany Thibodeaux, of Breaux Bridge, Marty Thibodeaux, of Cecilia, Chance Thibodeaux, of Breaux Bridge; and five cousins, Chase and Trey Gravouilla, of Arnaudville, Cody and Courtney Lastrapes, of Cecilia, and Lane Thibodeaux, of Cecilia. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, John Hardy; his paternal great grandmother, Thelma Frelich DelaCruz; and his aunt, Monica Thibodeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Cecilia from 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2007, and continue until time of service on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening. Pallbearers will be Chance Thibodeaux, Chase Gravouilla, Dodd Gravouilla, Fabion Frelich, William Johnson, and Dino Tumminello.
