New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, May 9, 2008, at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia for Noah "Jim" Tabor, Jr, 58, who died Wednesday, May 7, 2008 in New Iberia.
Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Jim is a retired welder having served our country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his daughter, Jamie Boutte and husband Jeremy "Mice" of New Iberia; brother, Johnny Tabor and wife Ellen of New Iberia; sisters, Lillian Thibodeaux and husband Richard, Joanna Gary and husband Eddie, and Nancy Broussard all of New Iberia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Noah J. Tabor, Sr.; mother, Marie Bourque; brothers, Leo Tabor, Sonny Tabor; nephews, Richie Thibodeaux, Anthony "Lil Tony" Russo, Jr.; great niece, Alli Lee Bernard.
Pallbearers will be Andy Russo, Charlie Dubois, Richie Paul Suire, Joannie Guillotte, Adam Tabor, and Rod Thibodeaux.
Honorary pallbearers include John Miller, Jeremy "Mice" Boutte, Eddie Gary, and Richard Thibodeaux.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. Visitation will continue Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
