Noemie Vincent Champagne

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Noemie Vincent Clark Champagne, 91, who passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008 at her residence in St. Martinville. ; Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Father Courville, pastor of St. Martin de Tours, will conduct services. Mrs. Noemie loved gardening, cooking and sewing. She treasured time with her family and friends and was always caring for everyone. Survivors include her sons, Carroll Clark and his wife, Lois of Scott and Gerald Champagne and his wife, Judy of St. Martinville; her daughters, Doris Hebert and her companion, Albert Choplin of St. Martinville and Pauline Harrington and her husband, Chris of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her grandchildren, Scott Champagne, John Champagne, Ashley Harrington and Micah Harrington and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odilon Vincent and Angelle Clark Vincent; her 1st husband, Nedas Clark; her 2nd husband, Joseph Champagne; her brothers, Albert and Alton Vincent; her sister, Alita Sieber. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 and continue at 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Micah Harrington, Scott Champagne, John Champagne, Alton Sieber, Dwight Simar and Kenneth Prioux. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Harrington and Albert Joe Choplin. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
