Nolan Broussard

St. Martinville - Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm , on Monday, April 2, 2012 , at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Saint Martinville, for Nolan Joseph Broussard Jr., 60, who passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012 , at his residence in St. Martinville. Rev. Donald Pousson will officiate at the Funeral Service. Nolan enjoyed watching LSU and the Saints. He enjoyed working outside in his garden and spending time with his family and friends throughout the community, especially at Christmas time. He is survived by his father, Nolan Broussard, Sr. of St. Martinville; his wife, Dorothy Broussard of St. Martinville; his son, Joshua Broussard of St. Martinville; 3 daughters, Tammy (Chad) Laviolette of Broussard, Tracy (Chris) Comeaux of Youngsville, Tara (Collins) Lasseigne of Breaux Bridge; his brother, Kenneth (Janice) Broussard of Kenner; his sister, ReNeil (Jay) Broussard of Coteau Holmes; and his three grandchildren, Paige Laviolette, Seth Laviolette, and Cale Lasseigne. He is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Viator Broussard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 2:30 pm on Monday. Pallbearers will be Joshua Broussard, Chad Laviolette, Chris Comeaux, and Collins Lasseigne.
