Henderson - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Henderson for Nolan Joseph Louviere, 79, who passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm on Tuesday and continue Wednesday at 7:00 am until 11:00 am. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. Lenny Hayes will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Mr. Louviere was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed crawfishing and catching catfish. He cherished moments spent with family and friends. He is survived by his sons, Patrick Louviere and wife Julie of Henderson and Dale Louviere of Lafayette; daughter, Janice Holden and husband James of Carencro; brothers, Roland Louviere and wife Aline of Breaux Bridge, Jeff Frederick and wife Jodie of Cecilia, Russell Louviere and wife Brenda of Breaux Bridge; sisters, Merley Seneca of Breaux Bridge and Ernestine Louviere of St. Martin Parish; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife, Helen McGee Louviere; father, Dupre' Louviere; mother, Celina Johnson LeBlanc; sisters, Betty Guidry, Louella Louviere, and Barbara Thibodeaux; and his brother, Alton Louviere. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Holden, Dale Louviere, Dustin Holden, Patrick Louviere, Patrick Daniel Louviere, and James Holden. Honorary pallbearers will be Roland Louviere and Steven Bowling.
