Norma St. Julien LeCompte

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, August 1, 2008, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Norma St. Julien LeCompte, 91, who passed away on Monday, July 28, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. LeCompte loved to cook, tend to her garden, fish and raise chickens. She enjoyed entertaining and being with her children, grandchildren and family. Survivors include her daughters, Marie M. LeCompte of Breaux Bridge and Barbara A. Hammer and her husband, Herbert, Sr. of Lafayette. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Herbert Hammer, Jr. and Carlton Hammer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred LeCompte; her parents, Charles and Zoey Boyd St. Julien; her brothers, Victor, Murphy and Douglas St. Julien; her sisters, Regina Gathe, Leonia St. Julien, Josephine Taylor and Anna Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:30 a.m until 10:00 a.m. Friday. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
