Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, July 7, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Norma Ann Gravouia Thibodeaux, 78, who died on Thursday, July 5, 2007. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Manny Fernandez will conduct the service. Norma loved to travel to Tennessee and was an avid country music fan. ?She enjoyed bus trips and tours, as well as playing pokeno and dancing. ?The holidays were extra special to her because she loved to cook for her family. ?Norma's courage and positive attitude throughout her many battles exhibited her tremendous faith throughout her life. ?She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who will be sadly missed. Survivors include her husband, Chester Thibodeaux, of Breaux Bridge; two daughters, Dianne Latiolais and Bonnie Latiolais, and her husband, Rick, all of Breaux Bridge; two step daughters, Debbie Savoie and her husband, Robert, of Sunset, Ellen Ellington and her husband, William, of Bells, TN, and Donna Dupuis and her husband, Terry, of Breaux Bridge; one step son, C.J. Thibodeaux and his wife, Brenda, of Parks; one brother, Sidney Gravouia, of Breaux Bridge; five grandchildren, Gary Latiolais, Maria Hanes, Kristi Latiolais, Karen Sonnier, and Scott Latiolais; seven step grandchildren, Keisha Bouquet, Collin Thibodeaux, Jason Thibodeaux, Chad Dupuis, Christopher Dupuis, Brandi Ellington, and Brandon Ellington; six great grandchildren; and one step great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Berthelot; her parents, Eugene and Adelaide Devillier Gravouia; her step mother, Viola Melancon Gravouia; her brother, Francis Ames Gravouia; two sisters, Mabel LeBlanc and Beulah Polito; and her son-in-law, Al Latiolais. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and continue at 8 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
