St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, in St. Martinville, for Odette Greig Arcemont, 84, who died on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at her residence in St. Martinville.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Fr. Austin Leger, pastor of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, will officiate at the funeral mass and conduct the service.
A heart felt special thanks to Hospice of Acadiana, all their volunteers, nurses and staff for their loving care they provided and to the caregivers, Odelle, Lisa, Aunt Odile, Brenda, Elise, Evelyn, Terry, Joan, Angie and Felicia.
Survivors include her husband, Nick Arcemont, of Stephensville; two sons, Thomas Franklin Greig, Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of New Iberia and William Jude Greig and his wife, Yvette, of St. Martinville; two daughters, Norvelle Greig Belaire and her husband, Michael, and Patricia ""Patsy"" Greig Thibodeaux and her husband, Ronnie, all of St. Martinville; two brothers, Patrick Henry, of New Iberia and Dalton Henry, of Westlake; one sister, Odile Borel, of St. Martinville; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ambroise and Noemie Oubre Henry; her first husband, Thomas Franklin Greig, Sr.; two brothers, Nolan and Bobby Henry; three sisters, Edith Bienvenue, Alzire Romero, and Cecile Bernard; and two grandsons, Ronald ""Rowdy"" Thibodeaux, Jr. and Michael Belaire, Jr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. till 10 p.m. on Monday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Monday.
Pallbearers will be her four grandsons, Thomas Michael Greig, Scott Thibodeaux, Jeffery Belaire, and Garrett Greig; and her two great grandsons, Max and Meko Belaire.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle and Tyler Evans.
Memorial donations, in her name, may be made, to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston Street, Ste. 200, Lafayette, LA 70503.
