Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm, on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Olden "ToTo" Theriot, 84, who passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:30 am until 2:00 pm on Thursday.
A rosary will be prayed at 1:30 pm on Thursday.
Fr. David Broussard will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Mr. Theriot was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, honorably serving his country in the United States Army. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Parks Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post.
He is survived by his son, Dwain (Pam) Theriot; his daughter, Sandra (Johnny) Martin; his granddaughters, Christina (Ricky) Martin, Amanda (Aaron) Priest, Danielle (Nicholas) Simon, and Tara (Nicholas) Clark; and his great grandchildren, Austin Meaux, Corey Gary, Kailey Priest, Gage Savoie, Jacob Simon, Leah Simon, Sebastian Clark, and Bailey Clark.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Therese Castille Theriot; his parents, Romain and Ada Frederick Theriot; his brothers, Alfred (High Pocket, Pep), Ledia, and Ludon "Colo" Theriot; his sisters, Edith Theriot Laviolette and Verina Theriot Daigle; an infant baby brother; a grandson, Jeremy Theriot; and a great-granddaughter, Kennedy Priest.
Pallbearers will be Dwain Theriot, Austin Meaux, Ricky Gary, Darrel Theriot, Kenneth Theriot, and Dale Theriot.
Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Debra Durham and the special care he received at St. Agnes Nursing Home and Hospice of Acadiana.
