Olivia Derousselle Mamou

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, April 24, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Olivia Derousselle Mamou, 85, who died Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at her residence in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Mamou enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. Survivors include her sons, Clancy Mamou and his wife, Brenda of Houston, Louis Mamou, Jr., Lawrance Mamou and his wife, Ida all of Breaux Bridge and Larry Mamou and his wife, Billi of Clarksville, TN; her daughters, Rosa Mae Jolivet and her husband, Eugene of Houston and Mary Ann Landry and her husband, Zachary of Breaux Bridge; her extended sons, Cleveland Jones and Calvin Jones and his wife Gail all of Breaux Bridge, and Nye Simmons and his wife, Debra of Knoxsville, TN; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Mamou, Sr.; her parents, Noel and Theresa Galentine Derousselle; her sister, Georgeanna Richards; her brothers, Alfred, Sandy, Patrick, Antoine and Wilson Derousselle; and her grandchildren, Kathy Jolivet and Clancy Mamou, Jr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 pm till 10:00 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2006 and continue at 7:00 am on Monday, April 24, 2006 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, Sunday, April 23, 2006 Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
