Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Oscar Lee Domingue, 70, who passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at St. Martin Hospital.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:30 am until the time of service.
A rosary will be prayed at 1:00 pm on Wednesday.
Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson.
Oscar Lee honorably served his country in the United States Army in the 2nd 34th Armored Tank Division in the Vietnam War. He earned many medals including the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. Oscar Lee worked as a mechanic his entire life, he enjoyed working on diesel trucks the most. In his spare time, he loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and his dog, Bella. Oscar Lee will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sandra Allemand Domingue; daughters, Abby Domingue McGee and Robin Domingue; son, Kevin Domingue; sister, Christine (Fred) Braquet; mother-in-law, Mathilda Allemand; brother-in-law, Larry (Cheryl) Allemand; sister-in-law, Janice (Lanny) Hayes; grandchildren, Brili Lyn McGee, Trevor Domingue, Bryden McGee, Madison Domingue, Aubrie Domingue, Dakota Menard and Willow; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Domingue and Gertrude Coussan Domingue; sister, Priscilla Domingue Boudreaux; brother, Michael Domingue; and son-in-law, Brocky McGee.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Domingue, Kyle Johnson, Richard Ducote, Fred Braquet, Daris Daigle, and Dustin Bergeron.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Allemand, Lanny Hayes, Trevor Domingue, Bryden McGee, Gene Bourque, Logan Bourque, and Luke Courville.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff of St. Martin Hospital and Acadian Ambulance for their patience and gratitude shown.
