Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Pamela Louise Landry, 55, who passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020, at University Hospital & Clinics. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm on Thursday. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Concelebrant will be Fr. Keith Landry. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Pamela worked with the Lafayette School Board as a custodian for many years. She loved life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her mother, Nellie Guilbeau Landry of Cecilia; sister, Rebecca (Donald) Douet of Cecilia; two nieces, Paige Douet and Laci (Colby) Patin, all of Cecilia; great nephew, Alex Patin; great niece, Alyssa Patin; and twin great nieces, Anistyn Patin and Amalie Patin. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert "Black" Landry; and great niece, Sidney Patin. Pallbearers will be Colby Patin, Donald Douet, Johnny Huval, Mike Guilbeau, Kevin Latiolais and Lewis Landry. Honorary pallbearer will be Alex Patin. Rebecca would like to express her gratitude to Paige Douet, Laci and Colby Patin, and Donald Douet for the love and compassion that was given to Pamela during her illness, as well as for her mother.
