Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Pamela Louise Leonard Stutes, 59, who passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013. ;The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:30 am until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue at 7:00 am until 9:45 am on Tuesday. ; A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday. ;Rev. Gary Schexnayder will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Gloria Richard and Chris Guilbeaux. ; Gift Bearers will be Alyssa and Kollin Stutes. ; Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. ;A lifelong resident of Cecilia, Pamela worked for the St. Martin Parish School System, Express Couriers, and was the owner and operator of Pams Courier Service. ; She was a great wife and a wonderful mother and grandmother, whose love never wavered. ; She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. ;She is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Stafford Stutes, Jr. of Breaux Bridge; three sons, John S. (Christina) Stutes, III, James L. (Holli) Stutes, and Casey Stutes, all of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Liza (Jake) Hammer of Tuscola, TX; two brothers, Jackie (Bonnie) Leonard and Gary (Missy) Leonard; her sister, Robin (Chris) Guilbeaux, all of Breaux Bridge; six grandchildren, Johnnie, Dylan, Alyssa, Kollin, Heath, and Ella; her mother, June Guidry Leonard of Breaux Bridge; and her in-laws, John S. and Rowena Stutes, Sr. ;She is preceded in death by her father, James Cecil Leonard; and her sister-in-law, Kathy Langlinais. ;Pallbearers will be John Stutes, III, James Stutes, Casey Stutes, Jackie Leonard, Gary Leonard, and Jake Hammer. ;Honorary pallbearers will be Clebe Stutes, Chris Guilbeaux, Tommy Angelle, Sr., Tommy Angelle, Jr., and John Stafford Stutes, Sr. ;Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia, 2238 Bushville Hwy., Cecilia, Louisiana 70521, (337-667-6464) is in charge of arrangements. ;To view on-line obituary, sign guestbook and , go to www.pellerinfuneralhome.com
