Pamela Thomassee

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Pamela LeBlanc Thomassee, 66, who passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:30 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 7:00 am until 10:15 am. A rosary will be prayed by Brad Thomassee at 7:00 pm on Monday. Fr. Neil Pettit will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Pam enjoyed visiting with family and friends and taking care of people in need. She will be remembered for her generous ways and her friendly personality. Pam will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Elrod Thomassee of Cecilia; her daughter, Kelly Guidry and husband Greg of Breaux Bridge; and her granddaughter, Abigale of Breaux Bridge. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Thomassee; her parents, Antoine Kaiser LeBlanc and Lydia "DaDa" Guidry LeBlanc; her sister, Peggy L. Guidry; and her in-laws, Ernest and Thelma Thomassee. Pallbearers will be Greg Guidry, Clint Guidry, Don Berard, Troy Seneca, Trey Blanchard, Keith Blanchard, and Brad Thomassee. Honorary pallbearers will be Treavor Blanchard, Alvin Seneca, Mike Landry, and Andy Guidry. Pam's family would like to extend special thanks to Jennifer Courville, Dr. John Mickey, Dr. Thomas Voitier, Donna, Jana, Brittany, and Luke, and the staff of Lafayette General Medical Center - 9th floor, for her care.
