Paola Hollier Angelle

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., on Friday, March 28, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Paola Hollier Angelle, 86, who passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Rev. Fr. Chanh Nguyen will officiate at the funeral Mass. Readers will be Angela Taylor, Amy Reich, and Victoria Knott. Gift bearers will be Mia Hebert, Alix Angelle, and Adrienne Champagne. Musical selections will be provided by Charie Angelle Johnson, Leo "Pope" Huval, Al and Carleen Berard, Shane Guidry, Laura Huval, and Meagan Berard. Mrs. Angelle loved being surrounded by people, especially her family and friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include three sons, Simon Angelle, Sr. and his wife, Joann Kidder Angelle, of Arnaudville Marshall Angelle and his wife, Geraldine Huval Angelle, of Cecilia, and Westfor "J.J." Angelle, Jr. and his wife, Pam Meche Angelle, of Arnaudville; two brothers, Bradley Hollier, Sr., of Arnaudville, and Steven Hollier, of Rayne; two sisters, Noelie Hollier Duplechein, of Arnaudville, and Sybil Hollier Stelly, of Sunset; 12 grandchildren, Angela Angelle Taylor, Simon Angelle, Jr., Jonas Angelle, Victoria Angelle Knott, Chad Angelle, Charie Angelle Johnson, Mia Angelle Hebert, Amy Angelle Reich, Adam Angelle, Adrienne Angelle Champagne, Alix Angelle, and Josh Johnson; 22 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Westfor Angelle, Sr.; her father, Olide Hollier, Sr.; her mother, Angella Guidry Hollier; one sister, Thelma Hollier Guidry; and four brothers, Harry Hollier, Elie Hollier, Arthur Hollier, and Olide Hollier, Jr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Pallbearers will be Simon Angelle, Sr., Marshall Angelle, Westfor "J.J." Angelle, Jr., Simon Angelle, Jr., Jonas Angelle, Adam Angelle, and Chad Angelle. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
